UPSC CISF recruitment 2018: For Limited Departmental Competitive Examination to fill posts of Assistant Commandants (Executive) with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates, who can check detailed notification at upsc.gov.in. The examination will be held on August 12. In its earlier notification in January, the UPSC had stated about merely 29 vacancies.
Candidates have to first take a written test, followed by a physical and medical standard test as well as a personality test. They can check further details here:
UPSC CISF 2018 recruitment: Total 398 posts that includes BSF (60), CRPF(179), CISF (84), ITBP(46) and SSB(29).
Eligibility
Age limit: A candidate must have completed 20 years of age and not attained the age of 25 years on August 1, 2018. He/she must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1993 and not later than August 1, 1998. The age relaxation rules will be as per the government norms.
Educational qualification: Aspirants must be graduates from a government recognised university, institute or college. The candidates with a NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate will be given preference as this will be considered during the interview or personality test, but this should be treated as a compulsory qualification.
Application fees: Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 200, but female/SC/ST candidates would be exempted from payment of fee.

The examination will be held on August 12
The UPSC will conduct the written examination on August 12, 2018. It will comprise two papers; Paper I will be held from 10 am to 12 pm and Paper II will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Paper I will be of 250 marks having questions on general ability and intelligence. The questions will be of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type in which questions will be set in English as well as Hindi.
Paper II will comprise General Studies, Essay and Comprehension of 200 Marks. The candidates will be allowed the option of writing essay in English or Hindi, but the medium of precis writing, comprehension and other communications/ language skills will be in English.
